Claude readiness assessment: is your enterprise ready?

Use this printable Claude readiness assessment to turn interest into a bounded pilot. Six checks cover the decision, the evidence, access boundaries, acceptable answers, owners and the pilot decision.

Choose one workflow for your assessment

We will use your business questions and system landscape to scope the conversation. Do not send passwords, API keys, customer records or sensitive financial information through the contact form. A readiness discussion does not require production access.

The request button opens the contact form with “AI Advisory, Readiness Assessment” already selected. Add your name, work email and company, and the platforms you use if you like.

Your printable preparation checklist

Print this page or save it as PDF using your browser. It is available without a form.

  1. 1. Choose the decision

Write the recurring business question, who acts on the answer, how often it arises and the consequence of a wrong answer. Bring three anonymized examples. Avoid starting with a generic chatbot mandate.

Owner / evidence / open question:

  2. 2. Locate the evidence

List the source systems, report owners, metric definitions and refresh schedules. Identify contradictory definitions before connecting an assistant. Use sanitized sample records for the first discussion.

Owner / evidence / open question:

  3. 3. Establish access boundaries

Identify the pilot users and the records each may access. Document approval, credential ownership, revocation and escalation. Keep read-only assistance separate from any proposed write action.

Owner / evidence / open question:

  4. 4. Define acceptable answers

Provide a reviewer-approved reference answer and the evidence needed to check it. Include ambiguity, missing data, denied access and stale records. A useful clarification or refusal can be the correct outcome.

Owner / evidence / open question:

  5. 5. Assign operating ownership

Name a business sponsor, data owner, technical owner and incident contact. Agree who handles changes to permissions, source systems, metric definitions and model behavior.

Owner / evidence / open question:

  6. 6. Set the pilot decision

Agree the evaluation set, reviewer availability, cost envelope and stop conditions. Record how the team will decide to scale, revise or stop. Choose thresholds from your business baseline rather than industry promises.

Owner / evidence / open question:

Finished the six checks? Bring your answers to a readiness conversation.

What a useful assessment produces

A concise pilot brief: business question, data prerequisites, access boundaries, reference examples, success criteria, responsibilities and the next decision. Scope, timeline and commercial terms are agreed during discovery; this page does not promise a fixed-price implementation.

Claude is the assistant experience; MCP is a connection protocol; your business systems hold the records. Nexatron is a product to evaluate within that landscape. Confirm the specific source, client and deployment compatibility before promising a workflow. Compatibility does not imply an Anthropic partnership or endorsement.

How is a Claude readiness assessment different from an AI readiness assessment?

A Claude readiness assessment prepares one Claude pilot on one business decision; an AI readiness assessment scores your whole AI portfolio across every platform you run. This checklist is the narrow, self-serve version: complete it on your own and you have the brief for a bounded pilot. When the question is where AI should go first across Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce and Microsoft, or which governance framework the organization will operate under, start the broader AI readiness assessment and advisory engagement. It runs over the first 30 days of a 90-day advisory and produces a maturity score for each area, a platform gap analysis and a prioritized use case list.
